Biography

Li (Lilly) Wu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Laboratory for Advanced System Software (LASS), University of Massachusetts (UMass) Amherst working with Prof. Prashant Shenoy. Her research addresses the reliability and sustainability issues of large-scale computing systems, e.g., edge/cloud computing.
 
Lilly completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science at TU Berlin where she was advised by Prof. Odej Kao, and co-supervised by Prof. Johan Tordsson and Prof. Erik Elmroth.  Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on automatic performance diagnosis and recovery for cloud microservices.
 
Lilly also has industrial experience in IBM (Cloud) and Bosch Cooperate Research (edge computing for autonomous driving) as software developer and senior research scientist.
