Biography

Levi Pulford (he/they) is a Part-Time Lecturer of Junior Year Writing for CICS. He also works part time as a Writing Associate in the Writing Center at Amherst College. 
 
Levi attended the UMass MFA for Poets & Writers, earning his MFA in fiction while teaching courses for the English Department, Writing Program, and University Without Walls. He has also served as a Graduate Assistant Director of Teacher Training in the UMass Writing Program and as a Teaching Assistant for the Thrive Scholars Summer Academy. His interests include fiction writing, archival research, and writing pedagogy.  
 
Levi is originally from Alabama, where he attended the University of Montevallo and earned an M.A. in English. There, he served as the graduate assistant of the Harbert Writing Center. He is excited to continue his work and practice as a writer and as a writing instructor and consultant.
