Biography

David Paquette is the Associate Research Director of the NIA-funded Massachusetts AI and Technology Center (MassAITC) for Connected Care in Aging and Alzheimer's Disease. He supports MassAITC's mission to foster the development of AI-enhanced technologies to enable healthy aging at home for older adults and individuals with Alzheimer's Disease.
 
Before joining CICS, David was the inaugural Scientific Director for the Program in Digital Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School and Science Officer for the California Initiative to Advance Precision Medicine (CIAPM). David has a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMass Amherst.
 
In his free time, he enjoys collecting vintage Japanese arcade games, exploring local eateries and bars, sampling whiskey, cooking, making pour-over coffee, wearing bowties, and spending time with his family.
