We are sad to announce the death of one of our alums, Doug Niehaus (Ph.D. '93). Prior to his death on August 21, 2012, he was an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Kansas.

Our 2007 Computer Science Homecoming was held on Friday, October 19, 2007. During the event, we celebrated the 35th Anniversary of our Ph.D. program, and celebrated the retirement of Distinguished University Professor Arnold Rosenberg.
The Department held its 2006 Computer Science Homecoming on Friday, October 20, 2006. A celebration to honor Professor Allen Hanson and Professor Emeritus Edward Riseman was held during homecoming.
