Lederle Graduate Research Center, Room A215
Special Event

The Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, funded by the National Science Foundation, provides scholarships to current Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences undergraduate and graduate students who expect to graduate within two to four semesters. Each year, the scholarship pays for tuition and fees, provides a yearly stipend of $25,000 for undergraduate students and $34,000 for graduate students, and includes a $6,000 fund for books and a computer. Students must obtain an internship at a federal agency during the summers, and after graduation, students must obtain and maintain a full-time job focused on security at a federal agency for a period equivalent to the length of their scholarship. Federal law requires that scholarship recipients be US citizens.

This event is open to all students, no registration is required, and will share details about the scholarship benefits and requirements, as well as the application and selection process.

Please attend the event, even if you are a first-year undergraduate student, to prepare yourself for next year's application process. The SFS application deadline is March 24, 20233.
