HackUMass IX is a 36-hour hackathon that will be taking place in-person this year on November 5h-7th, 2021. Participants of all majors get the opportunity to work with fellow UMass Amherst students in teams to make projects during the 36-hour window and compete for prizes in various categories. In addition to that, we will also be hosting many workshops during the hackathon covering a variety of topics like Machine Learning, programming languages, security, and hardware. Last year at HackUMass VIII we virtually had over 1,000 student applicants, from UMass and other colleges spanning from Boston to New York City -- as well as many local high school students from all around the world!
