Please join us for a presentation by UMass alum Kristen Bonsall, security engineer and assistant vice president at Eastern Bank, on digital forensics and incident response. Detecting and investigating when malicious actors exploit security vulnerabilities is a key part of any system's defense.
Kristen will provide a high-level overview of techniques involved in gathering, analyzing, and securing digital evidence for use in investigations. She will also be sharing some industry war stories, and performing a few quick demos of open source tools that can be leveraged when performing forensic analysis. We hope to see you there!
