ILC N255
Special Event
Speaker: Francine Berman, Ethan Zuckerman, and Torrey Trust

Faculty and graduate students are invited to attend a lecture discussing “Three Semesters Later: How is ChatGPT Being Used in the Classroom?” on April 26, 2024, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in ILC N255. Register here.

Sponsored by the Office of Faculty Development and facilitated by Luke Bloomfield, Resource Economics, the event will feature speakers Francine BermanEthan Zuckerman, and Torrey Trust, College of Education, as they share their experiences using ChatGPT and other generative AI large language models in their classes.

After each semester we find ourselves that much further away from year zero of the ChatGPT era. As more and more students use AI, and more and more teachers teach with AI, questions about how (or if) it can improve education persist.

Lunch will be provided by Black Sheep Deli. This event is funded by the Office of Faculty Development Mutual Mentoring Grant.
