The application for Data Science for the Common Good (DS4CG) Summer 2024 Program at the UMass Amherst Center for Data Science is now open! We encourage all interested CICS graduates and advanced undergraduates to fill out an application.
About the program
The DS4CG summer internship program is hosted at UMass Amherst and aims to train aspiring data scientists to work on real-world problems that benefit the common good. Teams of Computer Science students have the opportunity to collaborate with nonprofit organizations and government agencies working in public health, education, health and wellness, environmental conservation, and more. Application deadline and how to apply
DS4CG 2024 is accepting applications from CICS graduate and advanced undergraduate students until March 29th, 2024, or until all positions are filled. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis. To learn more about the program's details and to apply, see our DS4CG Google Form.
Attend our upcoming information session
An information session about DS4CG for interested applicants will be held on February 6th, 2024, from 12-1pm in the CS Building, Room 150/151. The information session will also be recorded.
