Abstract: This is a lecture I give in COMPSCI119, so the expected level of knowledge is very minimal, at this point they are familiar with fundamental programming constructs (loops, functions, lists) and nothing else. The focus of the material is how images get represented by a computer and basic image editing in python.
Bio: I've been in the Pioneer Valley since 2015, I went to UMass Amherst for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. For the past year I have been a temporary instructor for the college. I also work for a variety of archaeological digs performing research and creating bespoke systems for them to use. In my free time, I like to woodwork.
