College Welcomes New Executive Director of Development

Ben Stickan joined the UMass Amherst Foundation on July 28, 2025, as chief development officer for Manning CICS. He brings more than 20 years of advancement experience to the role, most recently serving at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

"Working to support higher education is a true privilege, and I couldn’t have come at a more exciting time as Dean Keith Marzullo begins his tenure and the college opens the doors to a new collaborative hub for computing," said Stickan.

In his role, Stickan will partner with Dean Marzullo to advance the university’s Accelerate campaign and strengthen philanthropic engagement across the CICS community, working with alumni, friends, and volunteers to support scholarships, programs, and student engagement opportunities.
