UMass RescueLab Child Safety Hackathon 2025

The Cybersecurity Institute will hold a hackathon on Friday, October 24, 2025 in LGRC A112. The event will bring together CICS graduate students, faculty, and cybersecurity industry professionals from Massachusetts-based companies, such as MITRE and Pixel Forensics (including alumni!). This hackathon is specifically designed for graduate students in CICS, and the tasks are slightly more challenging.

The hackathon's primary focus is to make machine learning techniques easily accessible to investigators of crimes against children. The hackathon is appropriate for any graduate-level students with programming tasks in ML, systems, databases, GUIs, and project management. Please use this link to register.
