Meeting

Mark your calendars for the MinutemanCTF 2025 on Friday, Oct. 17 from 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m.

MinutemanCTF 2025 is the second edition of the UMass Cybersecurity Club's beginner-oriented hybrid/remote CTF exclusive to UMass/Five College Students. The goal of the CTF is to teach introductory cybersecurity principles and other skills not often covered in traditional classes through cybersecurity puzzles and challenges. The in-person portions of the event will be happening in the LGRC, primarily room A112.

We will be having a kickoff featuring members of CS faculty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, and there will be having a number of panels and talks throughout the weekend from both faculty and companies, tentatively including Meta, Bugcrowd, Dell, Microsoft, Amazon and more!

Winners of the CTF can expect to win up to $100 in prizes. There will be several prize brackets, including ones for teams of exclusively Freshmen, a raffle, and a writeup competition.

Join our MinutemanCTF Discord server for main communication before and during the event.
