Look for your Manning College of Information & Computer Sciences community at these key events:
UMass Pass: October 10 at 10:00-2:00 p.m.
Kick off your campus adventure by picking up your complimentary UMass Pass (and map) outside the Student Union. Then, visit six UMass Pass Stations at favorite campus landmarks and exciting spaces across campus--including a stop at the new Computer Science Laboratories.
Along the way, collect UMass branded:
- Sunglasses
- Tote bag
- Portable charger
- Journal set
- Long sleeve t-shirt
- Squirrel stuffed animal
- And more surprises!
The more stations you visit, the bigger the rewards. Don’t miss this fun and interactive way to explore UMass, celebrate your pride, and score exclusive swag! Get in on the fun while supplies and giveaways last. All are welcome. No cost to participate.
Cheer and Beer Garden: October 10 at 11:00 am
Join alumni, friends, and fans at the Cheer & Beer Garden at McGuirk Alumni Stadium for a festive celebration filled with:
- Lawn games, face painting, glitter tattoos, music, and live performances from the UMass Minuteman Marching Band
- UMass-themed giveaways
- Delicious bites and beverages from top-ranked UMass Dining
- Special gathering spaces hosted by the schools and colleges
- Affinity groups coming together under one tent, including LGBTQ, UMass Minuteman Marching Band, Veterans, and Women for UMass (WFUM)
- A spirited welcome for the UMass Football team before they take on Miami (OH)
This is your chance to show your pride, connect with alumni, and cheer on the team in true UMass style. Look for the MCICS tent--and of course, swag! All are welcome.
