Amherst-Area Internship Fair and Arts & Humanities Internship Fair

Looking for an internship around Amherst? If so, local businesses across many industries are hiring part-time Interns at the Amherst Area Internship Fair, as well as a number of on-campus employers who are hiring for either part-time jobs or internships (work study options available too).

Come line up your local work experience for the semester or school year and build your resume with relevant, hand-on experience, while taking classes.

The Amherst Area Internship Fair will be held in-person on Friday, September 6, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Campus Center Auditorium. 

In addition to the off-campus employers listed here, many UMass offices will be in attendance advertising their open part-time jobs, work-study opportunities, and internships.

Know Before You Go

• Research the organizations coming
• Polish up your resume—many career centers offer drop-in hours and virtual or in-person appointments to get it reviewed
• Prepare your 30 second introduction of self (your "pitch"!)
• Dress to present your best self—proper fit, polished, and put together go a long way in making a good first impression
