Are Online MSCS courses delivered Synchronously or Asynchronously?
Online CS courses are delivered both synchronously and asynchronously, with some offering flexibility for the student to log in on their own time to review a recorded lecture and complete assigned coursework and others requiring students to log on at a specific time on specific days to attend lectures that are being live-streamed. Currently, we estimate the breakdown between these two delivery methods is approximately 50/50. More specific details about the delivery method of individual courses can be found on SPIRE.
