About

Wayne Duso '85 is an engineering entrepreneur who is passionate about building teams, shipping products, and growing businesses that deliver disruptive value for customers. He is proven at leading multidisciplinary teams in delivering targeted results.

Wayne is currently an advisor to Greylock-backed Bedrock Security. where he is partnering with the founding team to protect exabyte-scale hybrid data environments. Previously, he served as the general manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he led teams developing next generation cloud services at Amazon.com's AWS Kendall Square development center in Cambridge, MA. Prior to his current position, Wayne held a variety of senior-level roles in product development, product management, and business development spanning virtual storage appliances, enterprise and midrange storage systems, storage and network resource management, and multi-media and data networking.

Wayne received a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a M.S. in Systems Engineering from Boston University, and has attended executive education programs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Babson College.

Wayne holds over 25 patents in the areas of distributed systems, client server protocols, highly available computer systems, MPEG processing, and file systems for continuous media serving.
