Michael Pfeiffer

Michael Pfeiffer returned to UMass after two decades teaching high school in the community. He earned degrees in mathematics and astronomy from the university, then taught those topics, as well as physics, at a performing arts high school in South Hadley. He is an avid electronics hobbyist and technology nerd, and equally handy with a hammer or 3D printer. His creative endeavors have ranged from a functional hovercraft to a flux capacitor (untested due to speed limit restrictions in local mall parking lots). He currently manages the CICS Makerspace while happily living in the Pioneer Valley with his family.
