Ghazaleh's current research focuses on Phylogenetic Decisiveness. Phylogenetic Decisiveness is in close relation with the No-rainbow Coloring Problem in Graph Theory which is known to be NP-Complete. Her main interest is trying to give some exact or randomized algorithms and finding new bounds to make the naive algorithm faster and more efficient.
