CICS’s Michelle Trim, senior lecturer II, and Prashant Shenoy, associate dean of computing and facilities and distinguished professor, will be featured panelists at “Taking Advantage of the ACM Agreement to Publish Open Access,” taking place in the Science & Engineering Library Learning Studio on Monday, Oct. 21, from 4:00–5:00 p.m.
UMass Amherst corresponding authors can publish their ACM conference proceedings and journal and magazine articles with open access licenses at no cost to them under an agreement between ACM and the Libraries. Come learn from faculty authors about this agreement and how you can use it to gain more exposure for your scholarship. Hear about the firsthand experiences of those who have published open access with ACM. We'll also give an overview of open access publisher agreements with Company of Biologists, PeerJ, PLOS and others.
