Virginia Partridge

Virginia Partridge is a data scientist with special interest in natural language processing and information retrieval. She coordinates with academic, nonprofit, and public sector partners to solve their technical challenges and to leverage data to advance their research and organizational goals. She also manages graduate student teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Prior to joining UMass, she worked in industry on applications for medical record processing and multilingual dialogue systems. Partridge holds a bachelor's degree in linguistics and computer science from Brandeis University and was a participant in the Russian Flagship program through Bryn Mawr College.
