Before she joined the CICS Grant Administration team, Katie earned a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Southern Illinois University with a specialization in Maya archaeology. She has conducted research for multiple grant-funded projects and has taught courses in anthropology and archaeology at several colleges and universities. She received her B.A. in Archaeology from Boston University.
