Professor Wang's research interests are in computer Graphics: Global Illumination Algorithms, Real-Time Rendering, 3D Scanning and Reconstruction, Graphics Hardware, Image Processing. His dissertation research focuses on developing new interactive techniques for high-quality, realistic image synthesis using wavelet-based precomputation.
Ph.D., Computer Science, University of Virginia, 2006. Professor Wang joined the College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts as an Assistant Professor in 2006.
Professor Wang received an NSF CAREER award in 2008.
