CICS Students Receive 2018 Alumni Association Awards

Congratulations to College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) undergraduate students Harris Daniel Koumjian ('18), Itamar Levy-Or ('19), James Reedie ('19), and Cole Reilly ('19) who have recently received 2018 University of Massachusetts Amherst Alumni Association Awards.

Koumjian has been selected to receive a Senior Leadership Award, which is presented to graduating seniors who have provided UMass Amherst with exceptional leadership skills throughout their time as a student. Their contributions can be recognized through participation in student organizations, campus jobs, academics, and community service.

Levy-Or, Reedie, and Reilly were selected for William F. Field Alumni Scholar Awards, which recognize third-year students of all majors for their academic success at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Established in 1976, the program is named after William F. Field, the first dean of students at the university. Field is remembered for his overwhelming support of academic achievements along with being personally committed to discovering the best in each student.

We appreciate the Alumni Association's generous support for our students.
