Family and friends of graduating Master's and Doctoral students are invited to join College of Information and Computer Sciences faculty, Laura Haas, dean, and James Allan, chair of the faculty, for a celebration to honor your accomplishments.

12:00 - 12:55 p.m. Graduates Check In and Lunch
1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Presentation of Master's Graduates 
    followed by the 
Presentation of Doctoral Graduates

RSVP by completing the Master's and Doctoral Celebration Questionnaire.  

Graduates, up to 3 adult guests, and children under 5 are complimentary. Additional adult guests are welcome at $15 per person, paid at the door (cash or credit cards accepted).

LOCATION/DIRECTIONS

The celebration will take place at the award-winning Worcester Dining Commons, 669 N. Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA 01003. Free limited parking is available in Lot 63, in front of the Worcester Dining Commons, and Lot 43 behind Arnold House, next to Totman, and behind Thatcher.  The Worcester Dining Commons is about a ten-minute walk from the Mullins Center and the Computer Science Building. Parking is limited, so consider walking, particularly if the weather is nice.

Traffic Note: North Pleasant Street will be blocked to incoming traffic other than buses by 1:00 pm. Traffic departures will be allowed.  The University of Massachusetts Police Department has been notified of our event/location.

LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS

The university maintains a list of hotels and inns in the area. We strongly recommend that you reserve rooms early. 

PHOTOS

A professional photographer will be on hand to take photos of students as they are presented. Graduates will be sent an email with a password to access the photos as soon as they are available.
