Have you wondered how you can make your virtual events more accessible for all audiences? Do you have questions on terminology, technology, and best practices? The CICS Events Office invites all interested parties to part two of this two-part workshop series on virtual event accessibility.

During this two-part workshop, Dan Cannity and Josh Pearson from the Instructional Media Lab will present information designed to help event organizers understand accessibility through the lens of virtual events. Part one (September 25) will cover basic terminology, give participants an introduction to designing content, and give recommendations on how to make events more accessible to audiences. Part two (October 28) will highlight what assistive technologies are available to utilize and give overviews on how they function. Both presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session with Dan and Josh. Please note that you can register for and participate in part 2 of this workshop series even if you have not attended part 1. These workshops compliment each other but are designed with the idea that anyone can jump in at any time.

For any questions about this event, please contact CICS Events Manager Randy Barrios.
