(OUR)story Featuring Iman Deznabi
The Office of Diversity and Inclusive Community Development will offer a series celebrating the many communities of CICS called (Our)story. Each month we will have a special speaker from CICS share stories about their personal or professional journeys, culture, identity, and lessons learned. There will be time for questions.
Join us virtually, in December, to hear from Ph.D. student, Iman Deznabi. Currently, he is working on developing new deep learning methods for multi-resolution and irregular time-series data with missing values. His general interests are in applications of machine learning in Health Care, Computational Biology, and Natural Language Processing. Iman will also share the trials and tribulations of growing up in Iran and the impact the current situation there is having on students here.
