The College of Information and Computer Sciences Informatics Program and Office of Diversity and Inclusive Community Development will be facilitating an interdisciplinary conversation for the UMass community about the intersections between computing and society, focusing on ethics in computing during the pandemic. The panel discussion is on Friday, April 16th, from 11:45am to 12:45pm, EST and it will be held on Zoom.
The goal of this panel is to encourage a broader understanding of the relationship between computer science and society, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the broad spectrum of ethical concerns in computing on the micro and macro level.
