IBM Smarter Planet University Tour is Coming to UMass Amherst on April 20th!

Scavenger Hunt: Sign-in 3:15 p.m.; Hunt 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.; Info. Session/Prizes: 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
IBM Skills Zone: Througout the event
Future Leaders Session: Sign-in 7 p.m.; event 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Compete in a Smarter Planet Scavenger Hunt:

  • Student Teams use cell phones to receive clues/complete tasks on campus designed to help learn how the planet is getting smarter.
  • Free T-shirt for hunt participants.
  • $200 Grand Prize; top 8 Scavenger Hunt Scorers get gift cards!
  • After party/information session, including food, fun, prizes!

8:00 pm -- Facilitated Panel Discussion: Skills for the 21st Century Facilitator: Dan Bonelli, IBM Client Services Executive, Public Sector (Prof. David Smith will be on the panel representing the Department)
8:45 to 9:30 --Q&A, Dessert reception and networking
