Speaker: Bruce Bonsall

Please join us for a presentation by Bruce Bonsall, former Fortune 100 CISO and 35 year veteran of the cyber security field. Mr. Bonsall will provide a rundown of the most prevalent cyber security trends such as malware-sniffing dogs, phishing, and ransomware. He'll also explore the wide variety of career opportunities in the cyber field from policy and regulations to forensics and data analytics. He will also discuss the types of work people can expect in the cyber security field. Lastly, Bruce will share one of his favorite career war stories; a sordid tale that covers a wide range of issues in the cyber security field, including how not to get yourself fired.

We hope to see you there, for what we expect will be a fun and informative session with one of the most experienced cyber experts in the area.

Bio: Bruce Bonsall is the former Chief Information Security Officer of MassMutual, a global diversified Fortune 100 Financial Services company. He was voted the 2006 National Information Security Executive of the Year. In 2007, his security team won the Information Week 500 #1 ranking in Information Security for Innovation as well as the TechForum #1 ranking for Security Best Practices. In December of 2008, Bonsall was named by Security Magazine as one of the top 25 most influential people in the security industry. Bonsall has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 1997; number 291 out of 147,591 worldwide.
