Kelley Okolita is currently the Director of Disaster Management Services at Cambia Health Solutions. She will discuss her career's work in crisis and incident management.
    
Bio: Widely recognized as an industry expert with more than 25 years' experience, Kelley spent much of her career working for Fidelity Investments, starting with them as their 347th employee and leaving in 2004 when the organization had grown to more the 34,000, including four of her sons. Kelley has not only developed and implemented plans, she has experienced real disasters. Successfully recovering business operations in New York impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 and, after moving to a property and causality insurance company in 2004, Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Frequently sought after as a speaker and subject matter expert, Kelley has written and published articles in professional magazines and journals, authored chapters on BC/DR for ISC 2, written and published a book in 2010 on building an enterprise wide business continuity program and spoken at industry conferences from the United States to Australia to Singapore on behalf of CPM, DRJ, Continuity Insights, NFPA, Gartner, IBM, Sungard and others. In 2003, Kelley received the Contingency Planning and Management Hall Of Fame Award in the Practitioner Category.

Kelley had a thirteen year affiliation with DRII, 6 years on the Certification Commission for DRII, two as chair, as Director of Education and as a member of their Board of Directors. Kelley served two different terms on the DRII International Board or Directors. Her first term on the Board ended in 2007. During the break she served on the Finance Committee and Chaired the Re-organization Committee which resulted in the current organization structure of DRII. Her second term began in 2010 as one of three individuals elected to serve on the Board of Directors by the Certified Professionals of DRII.  Kelley served as Secretary of the Board until her resignation effective 12/31/2012.

Kelley is the mother of 11 children and grandmother to 8 grandchildren.  She lives with her husband in Orlando, FL and Gilbertville, MA.
