CICS Writing Center will be holding a Conversation Social on Friday, September 11 at 11am-12pm EST. This event is open to everyone in CICS: staff, graduate students, undergrads, faculty, postdocs, and friends, and all levels of English speaking, whether you are a native speaker or wanting more practice. This semester, our conversation socials will have themes. Since many students are attending job fairs and working on job application materials this month, the theme for this social will be job searches. The conversation prompts will cover challenges to finding a job, common interview questions, and career aspirations. We will have large and small group discussions and lots of opportunities to meet new people and make friends.
