The first annual Employee Wellness Fair will be held in the Campus Center, room 163, on Thursday, May 4, from noon - 5 p.m. The Wellness Fair strives to educate and celebrate the ongoing efforts to promote integrated approaches to wellness in support of being a health-promoting university through the Okanagan Charter. The day-long event will feature screenings, activities, giveaways, and raffles.
All faculty and staff are invited to attend the Wellness Fair to receive services and information about:
There will also be giveaways and raffles, with prizes including an Apple Watch and gift cards to the Campus Store and Dining Commons, and much more.
Contingent upon supervisor's approval, campus staff may receive up to 60 minutes of release time to attend the event.
The Wellness Fair is hosted by the Public Health Promotion Center (PHPC) and students from the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing and the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, as well as Human Resources and many additional campus partners. The students look forward to caring for the employees who have taken care of them.
