Community Conversations

Join us to learn, talk, and engage! All are welcome!

Our Community Conversations are facilitated conversations about life and the different intersectionalities we all have. These are opportunities to bring people together to develop their abilities to have difficult, respectful, substantial discussions about current issues. This year’s conversations will focus on race, class, gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, and other identities that actively influence who we are.

Interdisciplinary Conversations are opportunities to engage with topics that contribute to, or are influenced by, computing (e.g. other majors, different/new thought processes). We believe that a dialogue that recognizes the intersectional ties between computing and other disciplines provides a framework for innovation.

All conversations will be held in the Computer Science Building, Rms. 150/151. Lunch will be served.
