Remote Student Services

We are here to help! CICS is working to support our students remotely. 

Academic Advising

CICS academic advisors are available by appointment via phone or email. Undergraduate and master's students should call 413-545-4822 or email your assigned advisor to make an appointment. Undergraduates who have not been assigned a professional advisor, or who have additional questions, can email peeradvising@cics.umass.edu. PhD students can email CICS graduate program manager/PhD advisor Eileen Hamel at ehamel@cs.umass.edu.

Career Advising

CICS Careers advisors are available for phone or video appointments for help with resumes, interviewing, CPT, and more. Make an appointment on Handshake or refer to the CICS Careers website and Slack channel for comprehensive information.

Peer Tutoring

Writing Support

The CICS Writing Center is offering online writing support for CICS graduate and undergraduate students via Zoom or Skype. To make an appointment, email teaching faculty member Justin Obara at jobara@cs.umass.edu.
